How do you receive The Conversation?

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
On her site, Conversation Agent, Valeria Maltoni says: “Conversation is a space where relationships are managed.”
I am hosting a glossary series on my Examiner column right now, where I’ve got about ten terms of online communication so far. #9 was “The Conversation.” I’d like to get your input too – in other words, I’m inviting you to “join the conversation.”
Every one of us who engages online communication, through blogs, emails, social media, and more, are participating in the conversation. Looking through my spyglass into the fuzzy future, I see the effects of millions of people in billions of conversations, many of them open through forums and comments sections. The use of the Wiki (websites which can be altered by the readers), extends our abilities to converse by yet another exponent.
I use my Google homepage to collect my feeds from a number of different blogs. I just realized that I am actually able to see conversational threads, and by receiving the three most recent article titles from each blog, I get a visual experience of what is being talked about.
How do you receive The Conversation? Are you using more audio blogs or podcasts, do you get your current threads in your email? What devices work best for you? In other words, what makes you feel most connected?

I am so busy these days that getting updated information is a job in itself. I usually get most of my information via email. I try to sign up to any group that may help me so I can have it all at my finger tips or mouse click. I also use podcast, so if I don’t have time to read it I can download it to my phone ane listen while I do other things. Trying to get all the information thay may help me with life, business or work can be overwhelming at time, so I have to search carfully for information that will add to, not take away from my goals.

Right now the best way I can keep in the conversation is by human contact. If that is not possible, the telephone is second best. For news I rely on the radio. All very old fashioned, but all very satisfactory for me. When I have time and the focus-of-mind I get out on the web. But that just just is not working for me right now. What is wonderful is that we have so many options at our disposal!

I do receive threads via email, however I am also on almost any social network that you can name. I never thought I would be saying this, but Myspace is where I feel most connected. I hated myspace to begin with, so how ironic is that? Running a close second is my Powerful Entrepreneur group on Yahoo as I have built some great relationships there.
I would like to think that if you asked this same question six months from now that I would be able to tell you I feel connected to the conversation in all of my networks!

Currently I am on too many sites and need to become more efficient in my postings. I feel like I must read every email or I might miss something. I really do enjoy the Powerful Entrepreneur group on Yahoo and I am currently reaching out to say Hi! to people who also post a phone number. I still like the sound of a voice. I have a Myspace account but have not fully learned how to enhance and use that site. I belong to Linkedin, Facebook, yelp, merchant circle and several other sites. I have found some of my classmates from my highschool graduating class of 1966 through the internet. I have made some reallife friends through social networking. Yes, Janusz and I met thru Match.com! I browse thru craigslist to check out the deals- I have bought some stuff, sold some stuff and rented out property using this site. And skype- oh yes! this wonder allows almost free connections to all over the world. Although I still subscribe to a newspaper, I find myself getting more and more information from the internet. So, in essence, the internet has become an important part of my life. When I travel, I absolutely need to get connected or I feel lost.
