What Is It?

The Writer in the Blog is a short online intensive which prepares people for all the steep learning curves of successful online communicating. It is a thorough introduction to the Blogosphere. Soon, it will be available as an e-book.

The Writer in the Blog is great for writers, because it takes them across the bridge from the brain patterns of traditional writing to the brain patterns of writing online. These are two very different animals.

The class is also excellent for beginners, people who have never blogged, and people who have only used blogs as an online diary or a casual pursuit. Blogging for a living is exciting, gratifying, and certainly can be lucrative – but getting to that level of functionality is not a walk in the park.

Before You Begin

I offer a short series to introduce this program to you, which you can receive when you join my email group. I named it “Before You Begin,” because it gives you a good overview of the whole complex industry of online communication. This is information which I deliver in installments that are easy to digest. The series is not offered on my blog, it is only offered as an e-series through my email group. To receive it, please join my website announcements in the upper right column on this page.

People who go on to become class participants in The Writer in the Blog become part of a learning community, along with enjoying the opportunity to learn a whole lot in a short time frame.
